David A. Fuller

David passed away unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack, Friday, January 20, 2017 at his residence in Palestine, IL. David was the oldest child of Donna (Seymore) McAllister (Fairfield Bay, AR) and Gerald Fuller (Mattoon, IL). He was born on October 16th, 1951 at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. He graduated from Palestine High School in 1969 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1970. He served active Air Force and active reservist until 1978. He graduated from Ivy Tech in 1996, majoring in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems and Accounting. He recently retired from TRW, in Marshall, IL, after 15 years of employment. David enjoyed photography and working with digital arts. He is survived by his parents and siblings: Julia O’Day, Susanna Johnson, Jerry McCallister, James McCallister, Doug McCallister, and Bret Fuller. He is also survived by his wife of 44 years, Karen E. Fuller (Palestine, IL): his four children; David (Susan) Fuller (St. Louis, MO), Christina (Roberts) and JP Moorefield (Morgantown, IN), Rebecca (Fuller) and Ryan Jerrell (Linton, IN) and Michael Fuller (Durango, CO). Eight grandchildren; Keira and Moira Fuller, Keisha, Tre’ and Kobe Wilson, Renee’ Wonder, Elizabeth and Jayde Fuller as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine IL, at 1 pm, Tuesday January 24, 2017, with Patti Danner ministering. Visitation will be held from 11:00 until time of service. Memorials may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
