Dena Marie Stewart

Dena Marie Stewart, 72, of Robinson, died at 10:08 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, August 31st at the Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She was born November 17, 1941 in Elizabethton, TN, the daughter of Asa & Hester Heatherly. She and her husband Dick owned and operated Stewart Security from 1971-1999. Dena also worked many years for Victor-Dana. She was involved with the Crawford Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Auxiliary and was an active member of the Highland Church of Christ. Dena married Dick Stewart on March 5, 1960, and he preceded her in death on September 14, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Jeff & Tammy Nichols (Land O Lakes, FL); and her grandson, Tucker Nichols (Land O Lakes, FL); as well as a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 4th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial will follow in the Robinson New Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3rd at the funeral home.
