Don McSchooler, 74, of Robinson, IL died at 10:09 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1937 in Casey, IL, the son of Roy McSchooler and Nannie (List) McSchooler. He was the manager of Gallo€™s Red and White, Robinson retiring in 1992 after 35 years of service. He was a realtor with Main Street Realty, was a Robinson Township Supervisor and Trustee, a member of the Robinson Masonic Lodge #250 and was a Master Mason, a member of the Crawford County Shrine Club, the Danville Consistory; and past member of the Rotary Club, Robinson Elks Lodge, and the Robinson Moose Lodge. Don married Sharon Seaney April 6, 1957 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Bill Lamb, Robinson; his son and his partner, Rick McSchooler and Rick Wilson, Robinson; his 2 granddaughters, Kim Lamb and Darcie McSchooler; his grandson, Derek McSchooler; his 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Lester and Gloria McSchooler, Carolton, IL and Dave and Norma McSchooler, Mattoon; his sister, Ruth Ryan, Casey; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Howard, John, and Lowell; and 3 sisters, Wanda, Leona, and Irene.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Revs. David Ducommon and Paul Alumbaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lincolnland Hospice or to the Shriner€™s Hospital with envelopes available at the funeral home.
