Donald K. Wright

Donald K. Wright, 73, of Robinson, IL, died at 5:52 a.m. (E.S.T.) Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. He was born November 20, 1937 in Hardinville, IL, the son of Donald S. (Buck) Wright and Dorothy (Wilma) McCarty Wright. He retired from Marathon in 1995 after 26 years of service. He was a member of the NRA and attended Crawford County Christian Center. He loved golf and sports.Donald married Pat Rich in 1959 and she survives. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dion and Monica Wright, Robinson; his daughter, Tamra Wright, Robinson; 4 grandchildren, Alisha, Marsha, Eli, and Joey Wright; 1 great granddaughter, Jailyn Stephens, all of Robinson; his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Betty Wright, Gooding, ID; a niece and nephew, Rebecca and Marv Brown; and a great nephew, Kaiden Brown, Star, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents.Private family services will be held on Saturday, August 27th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, IL. Burial will be in the Tohill Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 26th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society of America with envelopes available at the funeral home.
