Donella Jean George

Donella Jean George, 90, of Robinson, IL, died at 3:08 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Heritage Health in Robinson. She was born January 11, 1925 in Robinson, the daughter of Reuben Best & Inez Conley Best. Donella was a loving and dedicated wife to her husband, Roy T. George, who preceded her in death on November 28, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by several cousins. She will be remembered for her love of nature, especially of birds and of flowers, and would spend hours alongside Roy in their backyard simply enjoying the outdoors. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. A graveside service will follow the visitation and will be held at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating the service.
