Our beloved mother, wife, and grandmother went home to be with the Lord at 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Magnolia Center in Robinson, IL. Dorothy Belle (Cover) Damron was born April 7, 1928 in Akron, OH, the daughter of Clarence Francis Cover & Eula Buena (Smith) Cover. She married William Louis Damron on May 5, 1944, and he survives. She is also survived by her son & daughter-in-law, William Francis & Kaye A. Damron (Flat Rock, IL); her daughters & sons-in-law, Bette Lou & Jesse William Saddler (Columbus, IN) and Ruth Ann & Lou Berolatti (Robinson, IL); her grandchildren & their spouses, William Paul & Africa Saddler (Columbus, IN), Scott Alan & Lisa Saddler (Columbus, IN), Julie K. & Kent Sandschafer (Robinson, IL), William Scott & Michele Damron (Effingham, IL), Allison Ren & Greg Parker (Effingham, IL), Krystal Nicole & Lance Cooper (St. Louis, MO), Daniel Levi Damron (Robinson, IL), Barbara Ann & James Riggs (Robinson, IL), Michael Louis & Denise Berolatti (Highland, IL), Regina N. Lee (Avon, IN); her great-grandchildren, William Paul Saddler (Cincinnati, OH), Parker Cain Saddler (Columbus, IN), Preston William Saddler (Columbus, IN), Nicholas Riley Sandschafer (Robinson, IL) Walker James Sandschafer (Robinson, IL), Jessica Lee Householder (Charleston, IL), Lindsey Michelle Tieffel (Effingham, IL), Ethan Gregory Jude Parker (Effingham, IL), Anthony James Lee (Avon, IN), Daniel Gary Damron (Louisville, KY), Alexis Marie Damron (Effingham, IL), Charlotte Faith Cooper (St. Louis, MO), Sophia Grace Cooper (St. Louis, MO), Naomi Joy Cooper (St. Louis, MO), Olivia Susan Damron (Robinson, IL), Daniel Eli Damron (Robinson, IL), Hailey Elizabeth Riggs (Springfield, IL), Joseph Michael Riggs (Robinson, IL), Gabrielle Marie Berolatti (Highland, IL), and Garrett Michael Berolatti (Highland, IL). She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Clarence Cover and Jack Cover. Dorothy worked as a secretary for CW Transport and for Trans Illinois Express. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, canning, camping and also attended Pilgrim Holiness Church. She will be remembered for the love she had for and gave to her family. A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28th at the Pilgrim Holiness Church, rural Robinson. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Gray officiating the service. Burial will be held at a later date at Good Hope Cemetery, rural Flat Rock, IL. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, with envelopes available at the church. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
