Dorothy Ellen Stephens, 83, of rural Robinson, IL, died at 3:55 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Burgin Manor, Olney, IL. She was born November 14, 1928 in Lawrence County, IL, the daughter of Arthur Moore and Ellen Budd Moore. She was a housewife, a member of the Bible Chapel Church, an active member of the Women€™s Fellowship, the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549 Auxiliary, and an avid antique collector.Dorothy married Bruce A. Stephens on November 29, 1946 and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Loren Stephens; her 2 grandsons, Nickie Lee Stephens and Andrew Stephens; and her 2 sons-in-law, Patrick Harrell and Tom Hanna; and her sister, Dolores Moore.She is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Vickie Stephens, Terre Haute, IN, Warren and Darlene Stephens, Flat Rock, Zon and Cherrie Stephens, Robinson; her daughter, Wilma Hanna, Olney; 11 grandchildren, Kim Stephens, Matthew Stephens, Charles Stephens, Cathy Navarette, Robert Lowrance, Jesse Stephens, David Hunley, Brian Keller, Stephanie Harrell, Zon Stephens and Zachary Stephens; 26 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandsons.Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 5th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Pastors Chris Jennett and Joe Griffith officiating. Burial will be in the Partlow Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 4th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Bible Chapel Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.
