Dorothy M. Inboden, 82, of Robinson, IL died at 5:23 p.m. (e.s.t) Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Daviess County Community Hospital, Washington, IN. She was born April 4, 1929 in Flat Rock, IL, the daughter of Millard Price Weger and Maggie Jane Higgins Weger. She was the former owner with her husband of Inboden Seed, Robinson, IL from 1967 to 2006. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, Robinson and of the Crawford County Public Aid Board. Dorothy married Donald K. €œDoc€ Inboden on May 2, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents;3 sisters, Maxine Legg, Mildred Trout, and Georgia Lackey; and her brother, Donald Weger.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Brad Harris, Clay City, IL; her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Gregory and Susan Inboden, Robinson; 4 grandchildren, Levi Harris, Chicago, Laura Harris, Glen Carbon, Daniel and his wife, Jessica Inboden, Robinson, and Shannon and her husband, Kurtis Goebel, Robinson; 3 great granddaughters, Josie, Cora and Adele Jo Inboden, all of Robinson; her great grand son, Krosby Goebel, Robinson; her sister and brother-in-law, Ada and Sam Bickers, Palestine; her brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Bonnie Weger, Robinson; her sister-in-law and her husband, Jo and Les Carter, Flat Rock; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30th at the New Hope Baptist Church on South Cross Street, Robinson, with Pastors Gene Ellis and George Meese officiating. Private family burial will follow at the Shire Cemetery, rural Stoy, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p. m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 29th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Memorials may be made to the Doc and Dorothy Inboden LTC Nursing Scholarship Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
