Edith K. Rich

Edith K. Rich, 97, of Robinson, IL, died at 7:55 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, IL. She was born June 25, 1917 in Robinson, IL the daughter of Victor Kirk & Mary (McGrew) Kirk. She worked in Dr. Hippensteel’s office for many years before retiring in 1988. Edith married Clarence W. Coulter in 1935, and he preceded her in death in 1949. She then married George G. Rich, Sr. in 1954, and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother; a sister; and a step-brother. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Marilyn Coulter (Robinson, IL); her step-son & daughter-in-law, George & Linda Rich (Lake St. Louis, MO); 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandsons; 3 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later date. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
