Edith Pauline (Brady) Fitzsimmons

Edith Pauline (Brady) Fitzsimmons, 63, of West York, IL, died on March 19, 2015 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born October 8, 1951 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Joseph Brady & Katherine Babcock Brady. She was an arc welder for many years, and worked for GSI Grain Systems alongside her husband Fred. In her free time, she enjoyed being outdoors, whether that meant fishing, gardening, or cooking out. She married Fred Fitzsimmons on September 29, 1968, and he survives. She is also survived by her son, Billy Ray Fitzsimmons (West York, IL); her daughter, Lisa Fitzsimmons (West York, IL); her grandson, Stevie Goodwin, Jr.; her sisters & brothers-in-law, Peggy & Robert Scott (West York, IL), Pat & Tim Scott (Robinson, IL), Marilyn Castile (Springfield, IL), Betty Moore (Robinson, IL), and Nancy Griffith (Robinson, IL); her brother, Mike Brady (Robinson, IL); as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Beverly Kirk. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25th at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union, IL. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating.
