Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Uptmor

Elizabeth €œBetty€ Jane Uptmor, 88, of Robinson, IL, died 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the Sullivan IL Masonic Home. She was born May 16, 1924 in Piedmont, WV, the daughter of Paul Edward Mullan and Percy H. Harvey Mullan. Betty retired from the Robinson IGA and was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Robinson.Betty married Eugene €œGene€ Uptmor on November 8, 1943 and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter, Emily Uptmor.She is survived by 7 children and their spouses, Clem and Gloria Uptmor (Sullivan, IL), Gene and Pam Uptmor (Windsor, IL), Mike and Jona Uptmor (Robinson, IL), Steve and Yayoi Uptmor (Springfield, MO), Mary O€™Dell (Delphos, IL), Bill and Tammy Uptmor (Villa Grove, IL), Pat and Cindy Uptmor (Crestview, FL); 19 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 3rd at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Aloysius Okey Ndeanaefo officiating. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 2nd at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home following visitation. Memorials may be made to theSt. Elizabeth Catholic Church with envelopes available at the funeral home and the church.
