Elizabeth "Lib" Thompson Morlan Clutts

Elizabeth 'Lib' Thompson Morlan Clutts, 83, of Lawrenceville, died Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born on May 31st, 1930 in Flat Rock, IL, the daughter of Walter and Bess (Rich) Thompson. Lib was a 1948 graduate of Flat Rock High School. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She devoted her life to loving and caring for her family. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Flat Rock, IL.Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Robert Clutts of Lawrenceville, one son Jan Morlan and wife Pam of Lawrenceville; five daughters Shelene Morlan of Gainesboro TN, Colene Morlan Russell and husband Don of Lawrenceville, Jolene Morlan Willis of Lawrenceville, Beth Morlan Burson and husband Jeff of Lawrenceville, Lora Clutts Davis and husband Andy of Concord, NC. One sister, Bernice Thompson Mundhenk of Robinson. Ten grandchildren, Janice Pinkstaff, Jacole Pinkstaff Nicolini, Brandon Russell, Mallory Russell, Jessica Parrott Aten, Shelly Parrott, Justine Morlan Hunter, Matt Davis, Shaye Davis, Kyler Clutts, Clayton Burson, Crystal Burson, Treavor Burson, and Tyler Burson. Ten great grandchildren, Thomas Nicolini, Nathan Nicolini, Elizabeth €œLibby€ Darnold, Aubrey Russell, Dylan Aten, Baelee Holloway, Mason Moore, Tukker Moore, Veda Russell, and Stella Davis.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Gene, Harold, Howard, Charles, John, Richard and Byrl Thompson; sister Shelene Thompson Carlson; son Michael Clutts; one great grandson Bryton Nicolini.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock. Burial will be held in the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19th at the funeral home.
