Ernest "Ernie" Roberts

Ernest T. Roberts, 67 of Lawrenceville, IL, died at 8:09 p.m. (E.S.T.) Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN after a battle with cancer. He was born January 25, 1945 in Warren County, PA, the son of Charles Roberts and Rosetta Fellows Roberts. He was a tree cutter and worked at Lewis Bakery, Vincennes, IN. Ernie is married Chandra Hawkins on October 19, 2007 and she survives. He is also survived by his son, Vernon Roberts (Bunker Hill, IN); his brother and sister-in-law, Charles €œChuck€ and Delores Roberts; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Linda Hawkins (Lawrenceville); his brother-in-law, Arvin Hawkins; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister and brother.Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Flat Rock, IL.
