Etta M. "Pudge" Knoblett

Etta M. “Pudge” Knoblett, 77, of Robinson died at 2:31 p.m. on May 15, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham. She was born August 20, 1936 in West Union, IL, the daughter of Adolph Glenn Yargus & Ola Pearl Counterman. Etta worked as an inspector at Victor Dana for several years. She was a member of the Robinson V.F.W. Post #4549 Auxiliary. She married Harold L. Knoblett on July 20, 1979, and he preceded her in death on March 1, 2006. She was also preceded by her parents; her daughter, Joanne McDaniel; her brothers, Bob Yargus, Harry Leon Yargus, Larry Yargus; and her sister, Mary Ann Daugherty She is survived by her children, Clifford Rush (Robinson, IL), Triesta & Randy Ahrens (Clay City, IL), Pam Cotten (Robinson, IL); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her brothers, Max & Sharon Yargus (MI), Mike Yargus (Harrisburg, IL), Bill Yargus (Robinson, IL); her sisters, Donna Capdarest (FL), Carolyn Sue Thomas (FL), Robin Yargus (FL), Cynthia Gayle Yargus (Clay City, IL); as well as several nieces and nephews. As per her wishes, Etta will be cremated and private graveside services will be held at a later date. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
