Ettie "Pat" Hensley

Ettie Patricia €œPat€ Hensley, 70, of Robinson died at 6:10 p.m. (EST) on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born March 22, 1943 in New Orleans, LA, the daughter of Melvin Christine & Ettie Yeager Christine. Pat was a licensed beautician and had her own shop next to Bennett€™s Barber Shop for a time. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary #3329 in Palestine for several years. She loved playing Bingo and going out to eat. She also enjoyed gardening, watching hummingbirds, reading, and watching her mysteries on TV.Pat married Jimmy Hensley on July 1, 2004 and he survives. She is also survived by her son, Eric Midgett (Robinson); her step-children, Edward H. & Jane Hensley (Sturgeon Bay, WI), Mindy Jordan (Payson, AZ), Torrie Kemp & husband, Mike (Payson, AZ); 8 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her brothers, sisters, & their spouses, Gale Alspach (Annapolis, IL), Joyce & Rex Shields (Annapolis), Melvin, Jr. €œBud€ Christine (Annapolis),Fred & Pam Christine (Flat Rock,IL), David Christine (Palestine, IL); as well as several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law in Crawford & Lawrence County, as well as numerous nieces & nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Walter Midgett; as well as her son, Jamie Midgett.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Pastor Paul Phillips officiating the service. Burial will be in the Berlin Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
