Evelyn Adams

Evelyn Adams, 95, of Palestine went home to be with the Lord and her family on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Crawford County Convalescent Center, Robinson. She was born October 16, 1916 near Palestine, the daughter of Everett and Eunice (Reinbold) Adams. Evelyn was saved at the age of 12, was a member of Greenhill Methodist Church and later transferred to the Palestine Wesleyan Church, where she took an active part.Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law. She is survived by her sister, Eileen Snyder, of Salem, OR; a niece of Salem, OR and several cousins.Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine. Graveside services will be held immediately afterward with Rev. Robert Gray officating at the Palestine Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Gideon Bible Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.
