Everett Lee Shull, 80, of Robinson, IL, died at 2:38 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19th at the Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. He was born March 12, 1936 in Flat Rock, IL, the son of Lawrence Harvey Shull & Grace Parker Shull, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Shull and Elmer Shull; by his father-in-law & mother-in-law, J. Leo Stevenson & Naomi Stevenson; and by his sister-in-law, Sharon Watts. He married Newana Stevenson on December 24, 1955, and she survives. He is also survived by his son & daughter-in-law, James & Emma Shull (Mulvane, KS); by his daughters & sons-in-law, Gina & Kevin Heggie (Flat Rock, IL), and Missy & Pup Price (Robinson, IL); by his grandchildren, Jessica & Steve Langholz, Joshua Shull, Jeremiah & Abby Shull, and Dylan Price; by his great-grandchildren, Rachael Langholz, Cecily Shull, and Medrie Shull; by his brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Ronald & Linda Stevenson (Robinson, IL); by his brother-in-law, Sam Watts (Terre Haute, IN); several nieces and nephews; as well as a very special circle of friends. Lee was a 1954 graduate of Robinson High School. He went on to work as an operator for the CIPS plant in Hutsonville for 42 years. For a time, he also operated a body shop in Oblong, and loved to work on cars. Away from work, he was an active member of the South Union Church in rural Flat Rock. He also spent many a day trout fishing with his good friend, Jerry. Lee will be missed by his Hardee’s morning coffee friends and by his beloved family, who will forever remember his strong, quiet nature. A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22nd at the South Union Church (rural Flat Rock). Funeral services will follow and will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church with Ron Price officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Tohill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Pinehaven Christian Ranch, a residential, year-round program aimed at providing a stable, controlled, secure environment in which young people can reach the potential that God has placed within them. Envelopes will be available at the church or at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, who is in charge of arrangements.
