Floyd Mac Fuller, 83, Belleview, FL, passed away into the loving arms of God at 5:10 am Sunday, July 7, 2013, at The Tuscany House, Hospice of Marion County in Summerfield, FL. Floyd was born March 4, 1930, in Palestine, IL, the son of Rex Jarman Fuller and Grace Ina McPherson Fuller, both of whom preceded him in death. He was an active member of The Chapel of Christian Faith, The Villages, FL and as a long-time resident of Henderson, KY; he was an active member of First United Methodist Church. Floyd was also an active member of the Henderson Lions Club and a Kentucky Colonel.Floyd received a Master€™s Degree in Economics from the University of Illinois. He taught Agriculture at Homer High School in Homer, IL for 5 years. Floyd and family moved to Olney, IL in 1957 where he was a Farm Management consultant with the Illinois Farm Management Service. In 1963 the family moved to Henderson, KY where Floyd continued as a Farm Manager with the University of KY Farm Analysis Service. In 1970 the entrepreneur spirit took hold when he opened an income tax preparation business now known as Fuller Tax & Accounting Service. In 2000 he began the process of retiring and transferring the business to daughter Mary. Floyd and Lea moved back home to Palestine at that time where Floyd was elected Village Clerk, a position he held until their move to Florida in 2009.He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Vivian Leabelle Trout Fuller; two daughters, Lynda Joyce McFelia and her husband Karl David of The Villages, FL, Mary Kay Fuller of Henderson, KY, a son, Mac Allen Fuller and his wife Kathy, also of Henderson, KY; one sister, Vera Bowren, of S. E. Atlanta; eight grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine, IL. Pastor Paul Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Robinson New Cemetery.Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and prior to service time on Friday at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Henderson, KY at a later date.The family requests expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association, the American Pancreatic Association, the American Lung Association or Hospice of Marion ' Tuscany House.
