Gary Rich

Gary Rich, 61, of Robinson, IL, died at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Magnolia Center in Robinson. He was born January 6, 1954 in Robinson, the son of James Isaac Rich & Norma Jean Brashear Rich. Gary worked at the Marathon Oil refinery in Robinson, where he was a board operator for many years. He married Susan Rich on May 15, 1976, and she preceded him in death on February 13, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Gary is survived by his brother & sister-in-law, Jim & Linda Rich (Savannah, GA); his brother-in-law, Robert 'Bob' Smith (Cedarburg, WI); his niece, Chelsea Smith (Portland, OR); his nephew, Benjamin Smith (LA); as well as several cousins. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Magnolia Center in Robinson or to Good Samaritan Hospice in Vincennes, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
