Geneva (Dedrick) Albert, 91, formerly of Robinson, IL, passed away at 6:58 a.m. Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Zephyrhills Health & Rehab in Zephyrhills, FL. Born in Oblong, IL on August 13, 1923, she was the daughter of Grover Cleveland & Stella (Randolph) Dedrick. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Robinson, IL for over 40 years. Geneva leaves behind her beloved husband, Leonard, of almost 72 years, marrying him August 29, 1942. Also surviving are her children, Larry Albert (Murray, KY) and Peggy Hall (Robinson, IL); her grandchildren, Rob Minnick (Waco, TX) and Melissa & Patrick Sanders (Robinson, IL); two great-granddaughters, Alison & Paige Sanders (Robinson, IL); her sister-in-law, Lovel Paddick (Bridgeport, IL); and her brother-in-law, Paul Albert (Speedway, IN). She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Gene Dedrick and Robert Dedrick; as well as her son-in-law, Joe Hall. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 12th at the Robinson New Cemetery, with Adam Conder officiating. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
