Georgene Mau

Georgene Mau, 79, of Robinson, IL, died at 10:35 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, IL. She was born October 14, 1936 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Frank Wahle & Pauline Madden Wahle, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bob Wahle. Georgene is survived by her children & their spouses, Marlene & Sam Anderson (West York, IL), Donnie & Dilcia Mau (Kenner, LA), and Patty & Jerome Meyer (Slidell, LA); six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill & Dolly Wahle (Carpentersville, IL) and Jack & Helena Wahle (NM); her sister-in-law, Corrinne Wahle (Conroe, TX); as well as several nieces and nephews. It was Georgene’s wishes to be cremated, with private family services to be held. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
