Harold Wayne "Priff" Richardson

Harold Wayne €œPriff€ Richardson, 78 of Palestine, IL, died at 10:18 a.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013 in the Emergency Room of Crawford Memorial Hospital. He was born December 22, 1934 in Robinson, IL, the son of Conley G. and Ellen McIntosh Richardson. He was a carpenter, a member of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, the Robinson American Legion Post #69, a charter member of the Palestine Eagles, and a former member of the Palestine Masonic Lodge and the Danville Consistory. He served in the U. S. Army in Japan 5 years, 6 months, and 22 days.He married Janet Culp and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra (Kevin) Flynn, Palestine; 2 sons, Frank (Mandi) and Levi Richardson, Palestine; 3 step-sons, Terry and Brad Meek, Palestine, PA, and Sheldon W. Franklin, Robinson; his step daughter, DaRcy L. (Joe) Louer, Oblong; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Comstock, Saginaw, MI.€œPriff€ was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Doris Carney; his brother, Gene Richardson; and a step-son, Ralph E. Brock.Cremation was chosen without services. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of the services. Memorials may be made to the Palestine Eagles Lodge.
