Helen Marie Miller

Helen Marie Miller, 63, of rural Flat Rock, died at 9:29 a.m. on Friday, September 17th at her home. She was born June 16, 1947, in Montgomery Township, IL, the daughter of Perry Andrew Brown and Helen Neer Brown. She was a homemaker and also worked at IGA for ten years and was a manager ten years at Kentucky Fried Chicken.She married Albert E. Miller on May 12, 1973, and he survives. She is also survived by her three sons and a daughter-in-law, Bill Miller of Heathsville, Jake and Amy Miller of Odon, IN, Christopher Lee Miller of Flat Rock, IL; 5 grandchildren, Brandi Weger of Flat Rock Tanner E. Miller of Palestine, Cody Miller of Palestine, Logan Miller of Odon, IN, Brandon Lee Miller of Flat Rock; one brother, James F. Brown of Robinson; as well as several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bill Brown; and her sister Dorothy Brown.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine. Burial will be in the Greenhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the National Marfan Foundation, with folders available at the funeral home.
