Henry Bice

Henry William Bice, 89, of Robinson died Wednesday, November 30th at 4:59am EST at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes IN. He was born August 8th, 1927, in Vincennes, the son of Gilbert and Nettie (Gardener) Bice. He worked as a Custodian at Vincennes University for over 10 years, and in his free time enjoyed karate, earning the rank of Black Belt after 17 years of training. He married Mary Herrington on June 2nd, 2013, and she survives of Robinson. He is also survived by his son, Danny Bice of Lawrenceville; his step-children, Terry Herrington and wife Tracy of Flat Rock, IL, Lee Bower of Robinson, IL, Al Herrington of Robinson, IL, Mary Herrington of Palestine, IL, and Phyllis and Ron Webb of Buchannan, MI; and by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; by his brothers, Howard, Jessie, and Leroy; and by his sister, Clare. According to the wishes of the family, Henry will be cremated with no public services. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
