Irma Jane Clements

Irma Jane Clements, 96 of Palestine, IL, formerly of Annapolis, died at 2:38 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2007 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center in Robinson. She was born January 10, 1911 in Annapolis, the daughter of Otis S. Chapman and Allie Hill Chapman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Palestine Garden Club.She married Lorn C. ClementsMay 16, 1934 and he preceded her in death on May 30, 1961. She was also preceded by her parents; her brother, Harry Chapman; hersister in infancy, Blanche Chapman; and her graddaughter-in-law, Dr. Karen Wakefield.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ila and Bob Wakefield of Palestine; her granddaughter and husband, Patty and Cecil Neff, Palestine; her grandson and wife, David and Pam Wakefield, Fremont, MI; 3 great grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Michelle Neff, Indianapolis, IN, Lucas Wakefield and Allie Wakefield, Fremont, MI; and her great-great granddaughter, Claire Neff, Indianpolis, IN.Funeral services will be Monday, December 17th at 11:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine, with Rev. Jerry McDaniel officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to service time at 11:00.Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Annapolis. Memorials may be made to the Palestine Senior Citizen's Center, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
