J. Glenn Morris

Joseph Glenn Morris, 79, of rural Flat Rock, IL, passed away at 2:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) Monday, September 24, 2012 at the VNA Plus Hospice Center, Evansville, IN. He was born September 15, 1934 in Wabash County, IL, the son of Joseph Harry Morris and Mammie Maggie Richardson Morris. He worked at Ellis Feed Mill in Palestine until he and his family moved to Montana where he was in the trucking industry until his retirement.Glenn married Jessie Harrison January 29, 1953 and she preceded him in death on October 23, 2005. He was also preceded in death by parents; his grandson, Michael Forehand; his brothers, Steve, Fred, and Jerry Morris; his sister, Harriet Wilkinson.He is survived by his children; Pam €œSusie€ McLean (Cut Bank, MT); his son, Tony Morris (Billings, MT); his sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Jack Wilkerson (Newburg, IN); 3 grandchildren, Heidi Forehand (Billings, MT), Trapper McLean (Greenville, NC), Robert and Sonya McLean (Cut Bank, MT); 2 great grandchildren, Christopher Forehand and Kali Forehand; and several nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor Jane Drake officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the church on Thursday, preceding the services. It was his wish to be cremated and ashes spread at the Tiber Reservoir, his favorite fishing hole. Memorials may be made to the VNA Plus Homecare and Hospice with envelopes available at the Goodwine Funeral Homes or at the church the evening of services.
