Jackie Lee Brenton

Jackie Lee Brenton, 69 of Robinson, IL, died at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, IL. He was born February 12, 1939 in Palestine , the son of Cecil Brenton and Pauline Bledsoe Brenton. He was a Conductor with the Illinois Central Railroad, retiring after 20 years of service. He is survived by his 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Amber Brenton, Robinson, and Jason Brenton, Bridgeport; his daughter and son-in-law, Babbi and Scott DeBelle, Robinson; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his 2 brothers and sister-in-law, Jim and Patti Brenton, Palestine, and Don Brenton, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Michelle Brenton; and a grandson, Zephen Brenton.Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine. Burial is in the Palestine Cemetery . Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. to service time at 3:00 p.m. Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Palestine Chamber of Commerce Caboose Fund.
