James Allen Misner

James Allen Misner, 72, of West Union, formerly of Annapolis, IL, died at 8:00 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Lakeland Rehab in Effingham, IL. He was born December 17, 1939 in Clark County, IL the son of Darrell Misner and Grace Hart Misner. He was a driller for Marathon and a farmer. He was a member, elder and teacher for the Martinsville Bible Church.James married Judy McCrory on September 30, 1960 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Victor Tingley (Marshall); his granddaughter, Beth Jones (Marshall); and 2 sisters, Louise Weger (Robinson) and Marjorie Burris (Leesburg, FL).He was preceded in death by his parents; and his infant brother, Victor Misner.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 24th at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey officiating. Burial will be in the Bradbury Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 23rd at the funeral home.
