James L. Farmer, age 71, formerly of Joplin, passed away at 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2011 in El Paso, Texas. Mr. Farmer was born June 29, 1940 in Hutchinson, Kansas to the late James Roy Farmer and Anna Penner Farmer. Mr. Farmer worked in the medical field and was licensed as a CRNA. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in the Robinson Old Cemetery, Robinson, Illinois. The Goodwine Funeral Homes, Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
