Jane Ann Bryan

Jane Ann Bryan, 55, of Terre Haute, IN, formerly of Palestine, IL, died at 5:20 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born August 10, 1959 in Lawrenceville, IL, the daughter of John William Carver & Marilyn Sue Clark Carver, both of whom preceded her in death. Janie is survived by her daughter, Lauren Bryan (Terre Haute, IN); her brother & sister-in-law, Todd & Lisa Carver (Adrian, MI); her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Carver, Andrew Carver, Christopher Carver, Nicole Pickett, and Rachel Wheeler; her lifelong friends, Lynda & John McCullough; as well as several other friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was a 1977 graduate of Palestine High School and went on to graduate from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Janie worked in the loan department alongside her friends at the Terre Haute Savings Bank, and also worked for Macy’s in Terre Haute for a number of years. She will be remembered for her warm, fun-loving nature, for the care she took in growing her beloved garden, and for the care and the love that she gave to others, especially to her daughter, Lauren. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday July 7th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
