Jane Whiston Hill Mccoy

Jane Whiston Hill McCoy, 90 of Robinson, IL died at Crawford Memorial Hospital Magnolia Center at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was born January 2, 1925 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Charley Titus Hill and Mildred Whiston Hill, both of whom preceded her in death. Jane married Albert W. 'Red' McCoy on December 28, 1943 and he preceded her in death on April 28, 1998. She was also preceded by her brother, John Hill. She is survived by her niece, Kathleen Hill Young, Crown Point, IN and her nephew, Charlie T. Hill, Chandler, AZ; as well as several other nieces and nephews. Jane was a retired business owner and bookkeeper for A. W. McCoy Welding, Trucking, and Oil Field Equipment. She had a loving and giving heart, having supported very many local charities and organizations. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and gardening. Jane will be sadly missed by all who knew her and the ones she touched. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. following the visitation on Tuesday. Burial will follow in the Robinson New Cemetery. The family requests for those who wish, memorials may be made to the Oblong Children's Home, a favorite charity of Jane's.
