Janet Lucille Kamplain

Janet Lucille Kamplain, 62, of Flat Rock, died at 9:44 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. She was born November 4, 1951 in Chillicothe, OH, the daughter of Howard Detty & Margaret Woods Detty. She was a rural mail carrier in Flat Rock for five years. She enjoyed attending her women’s bible study for years, and also enjoyed garage sales and auctions. More than anything, she loved her Lord and her family. She married Paul Kamplain on July 22, 1970, and he survives. She is also survived by her parents; her sons, Daniel Kamplain (Vincennes, IN), Tim & Jennifer (Flat Rock, IL), Jim & Anastasia Kamplain (Flat Rock), Jed Kamplain & Brooke Dorn (Robinson, IL); seven grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Cochran (Aurora, IN) Pam Chapman (Washington, IN); mother-in-law, Rose Kamplain (Flat Rock, IL); as well as several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, David Kamplain and her father-in-law, Ray Kamplain. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2nd at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until service time at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
