Janet Lynn Varner

Janet Lynn DeVine Varner, 58, of Fountaintown, IN and formally of Robinson died unexpectedly on January 1, 2012 at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL. As owner and operator of DeVine Doggies Pet Grooming Salon, she was a well-known pet stylist in both Illinois and Indiana.She was born on March 26, 1953 in Davenport, IA to Wilma and Roger DeVine. Her parents survive in Washington, IL.She married Mark Varner on August 28, 2005 and he survives as well as her children Kelly Jo Woodworth Spitznagel and husband Joey of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kyle Woodworth and wife Christy of Sugarland, TX, step-children Stacey Forrester and husband Aubrey of Henderson, KY, Eric and Ginny Varner of New Palestine, IN and grandchildren, Heidi Lynn Spitznagel, Aleksey and Keaton O€™Dell and Morgan Varner.Also surviving are sisters Diana Woodworth Winters and husband Steve of Indianapolis, IN, Donna Reiter and husband Loras of Davenport, IA and brother Steve of Denver, CO.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Pastor David Ducommon officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 6th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Hancock County, IN Humane Society, 214 E. Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140 in memory of Janet Varner.
