Janet S. Littlejohn

Janet S. Littlejohn, 67, of Annapolis, IL, died at 5:17 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Annapolis. She was born January 12, 1949 in Robinson, the daughter of Herold and Martha (Spade) Jacobs, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Robert Littlejohn on August 17th, 1968, and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2015. She was also preceded in death by her sisters-in-law, Karen Jacobs, Margaret Littlejohn, Cora Berry, Nancy Littlejohn, and Dora Mae Littlejohn; by her brothers-in-law, Leonard Jayne, Jim Littlejohn, Thomas Littlejohn, Jim Burtron; by her grandson, Michael Williams; and by her great-grandson, Christopher Todd, Jr. She is survived by her children & their spouses, Robert & Brenda Littlejohn (Palestine, IL), Amy Pennington & Randy Napier (Annapolis, IL), Phillip & Georgia Littlejohn (Annapolis, IL), Anthony Littlejohn (Pinckneyville, IL); 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; by her sister, Patty Jayne (Camargo); by her brother, Gerold Jacobs (Oblong, IL); by her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Burtron (Robinson, IL) and Vivian Draper (Robinson, IL); and several nieces and nephews. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25th at the funeral home with Alvin Nidey to officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the ARDS Foundation, a national not for profit organization of individuals who have been personally affected by acute respiratory distress syndrome. Memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
