Janice C. Kincaid, 75, formerly of Palestine, died at the Alta Vita Memory Care Center in Longmont, CO around 9:00 a.m. (c.s.t.) Thursday, November 07, 2013 after an extended illness. She was born October 6, 1938 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Raymond York and Ada Hampsten York. Jan was a retired minister, who dedicated the much of her life to outreach ministry. She married Douglas G. Kincaid August 24, 1957 and he preceded her in death on November 12, 1999. She was also preceded by her parents and 2 sisters, Marion Richards and Arlene Hartsfield.She is survived by her two daughters, Keli Kincaid, Falls Church, VA and Kimberly Kincaid, Firestone, CO; 5 grandchildren, Dustin Grove, Indianapolis, Lacey Grove, Longmont, CO, Myka Ashley, Longmont, CO, Adrea Ashley, Virginia, and Elias and his wife Laura Ashley, Dallas, TX; and 3 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine with Pastor Lois Jean Bonesteel officiating the service. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Palestine, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14th at the funeral home.
