She married Robert “Bob” Eugene Kelly on October 5, 1963, and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2005. She is survived by her daughter & daughter-in-law, Ka Su Kelly & Monina Tolentino (Indianapolis, IN); by her son, Donald Joseph “D.J.” Kelly (Robinson, IL); by her brother, Jere Wood (Robinson, IL); by her sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Jan & John Cox; by two nieces-in-law & nephews-in-law, Jamie & Bill Antonacci (and their child, Matthew) and Jennifer & Cullen Porter (and their children, Maddy & Garren); as well as by her beloved dog, Shadow and her grandcat, Gabby. She dedicated her life to education, and spent most of her 36 years teaching the first grade, having touched the lives of countless children. In her retirement years, she enjoyed learning how to watercolor-paint.
