Jenna Marie Hamm

Jenna Marie Hamm, 31, of Hillsboro, IL, formerly of Robinson, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at 6:35 a.m. in Hillsboro, IL. Jenna was born on August 16, 1984, in Litchfield, IL, to Greg Bernhardt, Raymond, IL and Pat (Runge) Bernhardt, Robinson, IL. Jenna married Brandon Hamm on September 17, 2010, in Kentucky. He survives in Hillsboro, IL. She was a 2002 graduate of Robinson High School, Robinson, IL and studied Physical Therapy at Vincennes University, IN, graduating in 2005. Jenna was a Physical Therapist Assistant at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Hillsboro, IL and at Rehab Edge, Hillsboro, IL. As a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant, her patients, past and present, were near and dear to her heart. During her lifetime Jenna lived in Robinson, IL and Hillsboro, IL. Jenna was compassionate about being a survivor and supporter of juvenile diabetes. She enjoyed growing as a runner with the help and support of her running family. Above all else Jenna was a devoted wife and mother. Everyone will always remember Jenna for her bubbly personality, her infectious laugh & her big heart. Jenna is also survived by daughter, Mila Hamm, Hillsboro, IL; Sister, Amanda (husband Jason) Keesling, Robinson, IL; Step-mother, Linda Bernhardt, Raymond, IL; Grandmother, Dorothy Runge, Robinson, IL; Parents-in-law, Eva and Brad White, Palestine, IL; grandparents-in-law, Sue Walker and Joanne White; Step Sister, Amanda (husband Jason) Lemon & Step Brother, Tony (wife Ashley) Walch, Brother-in-law, Les (wife Brandie) Hamm and Sister-in-Law, Crystal (husband Tyler) Cox; nephews and nieces, Brody and Madilyn Keesling, Leah and Logan Hamm, Robin and Samuel Cox, Ryder & Rumer Lemon and Ayden Walch; and many loved aunts, uncles and cousins. Jenna was preceded in death by grandparents, Wendell Runge and Moe and Lee Bernhardt; father-in-law, Leslie K. Hamm and grandfathers-in-law, James Mershon and Foy Lee White. Times of visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro and on Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at the Highland Church of Christ in Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Highland Church of Christ in Robinson, with Pastors Shane Bopp and Tim Watson officiating. Burial will take place in Palestine Cemetery. The Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro and the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson are assisting the family.
