Jerome Albert Meiring

Jerome A. Meiring, 73 of rural West Union went on his last journey February 2, 2013 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. He was born July 8, 1939 in Siberia, IN, the son of Edward and Ella Kline Meiring. Jerome married his loving wife of 53 years, Judy K. Hightshoe Meiring on May 30, 1959 and she survives. He is also survived by his son and significant other, Jeff Meiring and Marie, Melrose; his daughter, Sherry Schaefer, West York; his son, Kevin Meiring and significant other, Karla Wilson, Melrose; 7 grandchildren, Shannon, Misty, Josh, Holly, Micha, Jamie and Sierra; 11 great grandchildren.Cremation was chosen without services at this time. Burial will be at a later date in the Ohio Cemetery, rural West Union. The Prust-Hosch Funeral Home, West Union is in charge of arrangements.
