Joseph Cameron Titsworth

Joseph Cameron Titsworth, 72 of rural Robinson, IL, died at his home at 5:46 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012. He was born April 4, 1940 in Robinson, IL, the son of Walter Valentine Titsworth and Mabel Elsie Poorman Titsworth. Joe was a lifelong farmer and a member and Deacon of the Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Robinson. He married Judy Starkweather on June 19, 1960 and she survives. He is also survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Edwin and Jerri Titsworth, rural Robinson, and Paul Cameron and Sheila Titsworth, Newton; his daughter, Terri Jo Mendenhall, Oblong and her fiance` Ronnie Tarr; 5 grandchildren, Kenzie Mendenhall, Oblong, Sierra Smith and Kelsea Smith of Newton, Jonathan Titsworth and Shelby Titsworth of Robinson; his two brothers, John Valentine Titsworth, Minneapolis, MN and Thomas Joshua Titsworth, Terre Haute, IN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Robinson. Rev. Jerry McDaniel and Rev. Dwight McDaniel are in charge of services. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 23rd, at the Highland Ave. Baptist Church and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until service time at 10:00 a.m.Memorials may be made to the Highland Ave. Baptist Church Building Fund or to Lincolnland Hospice.
