Julia (Judy) Wampler

Julia (Judy) Wampler, 71, of Robinson died at 3:25 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was born March 3, 1942 in Saint Francisville, IL, the daughter of Samuel Andrew Wampler & Dorothy May Malone. She worked in the kitchen at the Methodist Home for a number of years. Judy was a member of EUMC Church in Birds, IL. She attended grade school in Birds and graduated from Lawrenceville High School in 1960. She also attended Lockyear Business College in Evansville IN. She is survived by her siblings & their spouses, John & Donna Wampler (Robinson, IL), Bill & Brenda Wampler (Robinson, IL), Jane & Ken Erton (Robinson, IL), Susie & Don Wilson (Clearwater, FL), and Kay & Terry Weck (Annapolis, IL); 7 nieces; 5 nephews; as well as several great & great-great nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial will be held at the Lawrenceville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
