June Kenderdine

June Kenderdine, 88, of Marshall, IL, died at 12:05 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Burnsides Nursing Home in Marshall. She was born May 22, 1929 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Warren and Maude (Traxler) Kenderdine, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Armitage Kenderdine. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Nova (Kenderdine) Gower & husband Jerry (West Union, IL); by her niece, Conna Jewell (Lillington, NC); by her nephew, Rod A. Kenderdine (Melrose, IL); six great-nieces and great-nephews, Rachel Kenderdine, Sarah Kenderdine, Josh Kenderdine, Sean Jewell, Collyn Jewell, and Seth Jewell; her great-great-nephew, Tobias Jewell; as well as numerous cousins. At the age of 18, June was saved and baptized in the backwater of the Wabash River and was a faithful parishioner of the West York Church of Christ for many years. In 1985, she moved from West Union to Marshall, where she has resided for the past 33 years. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12th at the Harrison Cemetery, rural West Union, IL. The Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union is in charge of arrangements.
