Karen Jayne Shipman

Karen Jayne Shipman, 52 of Flat Rock, IL, died at 12:12 a.m. (EST) Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. She was born September 23, 1960 in Gary, IN. Karen was employed by Dana Corp., Robinson.Karen was preceded in death by her grandparents, Beulah and Jim Woodland and Gertie and Reuben Shipman. She married James Shipman on April 19, 1980 and he survives. She is also survived by her son, Joshua Shipman and his fianc€™, Amanda of Hardinville; her daughter, Adria Shipman, Flat Rock; her mother, Dixie Fellows, Robinson; 2 brothers and her sister-in-law, James Fellows, Pana and Garred and Kelli Fellows, Decatur; 5 grandchildren, Desiree, Lillian, Zophia, Avery, and Vincent; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Beulah and Larry Shipman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces,nephews, brother and sisters-in-law, and life long best friend, Betty Lou Karns.A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson.
