Kathy Eileen Duvall

Kathy Eileen Duvall, 58, of Robinson, IL, passed away January 21, 2022, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She was born March 28, 1963, in Mattoon, IL, to Bill Miller & Doris (Bright) Miller, both of whom survive. She is also survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Chad & Clare Wirey (Hardinville, IL) and Joe Wirey (Robinson, IL) & Michelle Wirey (Philippines); by her grandchildren, Kolton Wirey, Liam Wirey, Isla Wirey, and Jude Wirey; by her sisters, Cheryl Nichols, Brenda Sheahan, Debbie Kamplain, Marsha Baker and Nancy Hoke; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy & Bernice Miller and Evert & Mable Bright, and by her sister, Janet Faye Miller. Though she worked as a grind line technician for 24 years at Hershey, her life's work revolved around her family. Simply put, her loved ones meant everything to her, as evidenced by the sheer amount of effort she poured into being a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. They will fondly remember her fondness for nature. Few things brought more life to her living than taking a walk in God's creation. In fact, for years, she was known to walk the paths of Washington Park or the Crawford County Forest Preserve nearly every day! Back home, she spent countless hours tending to her lilies and rhododendrons, and these too helped bring her a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. A longtime Jehovah's Witness, we will remember Kathy Duvall's life as one marked by faith, hope, and love; but especially love. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25th, at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26th, at the funeral home, where family and friends will be given the opportunity to share memories of this dear soul. Burial will be in the Tohill Cemetery, rural Flat Rock, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the "Jehovah's Witnesses", with envelopes available at the funeral home.
