Kimberly Ann Zink, 51, of Robinson, IL, died at 9:10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes after many bouts with cancer. She was born September 18, 1963 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Nancy Clay Rich Stewart, who survives. She is also survived by her husband, Danny Zink, who she married on April 23, 1983; her son, David & his partner, Amanda Bachelor and their daughter, Clara Zink; her former daughter-in-law, Heather Zink and her children, Lily and Emma Zink; and her brother & sister-in-law, Jeff & Linda Rich. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Martha & Chester Rich; and her stepfather, Jim Stewart. Kim was a 1981 graduate of Robinson High School. She worked at Hershey Chocolate in Robinson since 2005. Away from work, Kim enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. She was an incredible craftswoman, and enjoyed making homemade gifts for her loved ones. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family and for the strength she showed for years while fighting cancer. A time of visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20th at the South Union church in Flat Rock. Funeral services will follow the visitation and will start at 5:00 p.m. at the church, with Ron Price officiating the service. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to the education fund for Lily, Emma, and Clara Zink, c/o First Financial Bank, with envelopes available at Goodwine Funeral Homes. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
