Lillierose Myers, 87, of Palestine died at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center in Robinson. She was born October 8, 1925 in Flat Rock, IL, the daughter of James Calvin McDaniel and Imogene Conrad McDaniel. She received her CNA and EMT from LTC and worked for Partner€™s Home Health and was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church since 1952, St. Elizabeth€™s C.C.W., American Legion Post #69 Auxiliary, and past president of the auxiliary of Altar Society of St. Elizabeth€™s and the Auxiliary Police.Lillierose married Charles Loren Myers, Sr. in 1944 and he preceded her in death.She was also preceded in death by her parents; 3 sons, Charles Loren Myers, Jr, James Frank Myers, and Woodrow Lee Myers Sr; her brothers, Carroll & Don McDaniel; and her granddaughter, Michelle Anne Myers.Lillierose is survived by her brother, Clay McDaniel (Bloomington, IL); her aunt, Helen Ward (Indianapolis, IN); her daughter, Ann Marie Richardson (Palestine); her son, Edward Ray Myers (Atlanta, GA); 16 grandchildren, Charles Loren €œChip€ Myers III & Nimfa (Jacksonville, FL), Scott Myers & Susan (Palm Harbor, FL), Katrena Burton & Brian (Palestine), Clark Myers & Angie (Robinson), Gregory Myers (Palestine), Woodrow Lee Myers, Jr (Indianapolis, IN), Joseph Myers & Michelle (Palestine), Thomas Myers (Terre Haute, IN), Cristobal Calip (Palestine), Jamie Tull & Mark (Lexington, KY), Levi Richardson (Ft. Richardson, AK), Frank Richardson & Amanda (Lexington, KY), Jennifer Robbins & Mike (Pittsboro, IN), Michael Myers & Lisa (Shelburn, IN), and Stacey Knowles & Todd (Sullivan, IN); 31 great grandchildren, R. J. Williams, Logan Myers, Kobie Myers, Jason Myers, Morgan Myers, Jack Myers, Max Myers, Lillian Myers, Kyle Myers, Lucas Burton, Megan Burton, Keely Burton, Madalyn Myers, Noah Myers, Emma Myers, Ashton Myers, Vincent Myers, Ian Myers, Emily Calip, Xander Calip Massey, Taylor Bowers, Jesse Bowers, Garrett Robbins, Grayden Robbins, Jade Myers, Sara Myers, Alexandria Myers, Gage Knowles, Caleb Knowles, Nathan Knowles, and Addison Knowles;; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22nd at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Robinson with Father Aloysius Okey Ndeanaefo officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21st from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine, with a prayer service following at 7:00. Memorials may be made to the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, with envelopes at the funeral home and the church.
