Linda Wiggington, 54 of Jasonville, IN, formerly of Palestine, IL, died at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at her residence after losing her battle with cancer. She was born October 20, 1957 in Leavenworth, KS the daughter of Dorothy McCaully and stepfather Joseph F. Arvizu. She was a seamstress and was a member of the Sullivan County American Indian Council.Linda was married to Gene Wiggington on February 14, 1977 and he survives. She is also survived by her two daughters, Christina Wiggington Peoples and her husband, Alonzo Peoples, Terre Haute, IN, and Jennie Wiggington, Sullivan, IN; her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Sara Wiggington, Arcadia, IN; 3 grandchildren, Olivia Peoples, Gabriel Wiggington, William Peoples; her sister and brother-in-law, Norma Jean & Dave Loveless, Palestine; and her step brother and his wife, Bruce and Dorothy Arvizu of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Butch Neaves.Private family services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in rural Palestine. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
