Lloyd A. €œHoppy€ Tracy, 68, of Oblong, died at 9:43 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. He was born November 28, 1943 in Annapolis, IL, the son of Lyle Tracy & Letha Smith-Tracy. He worked at several local businesses, most notably at Dolan€™s Amoco Service Station for 18 years. He attended Family Life Worship Center in Sumner.€œHoppy€ married Florence L. Welker on December 22, 1962, and she survives. He is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan & Crystall Tracy (Flora, IL) and James Tracy & Lynn Like (Oblong, IL); two daughters and sons-in-law Rohnna & Clinton Woodard (Willow Hill, IL) and Shanna & Bruce Scott (Oblong); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lois Dunlap (Robinson), Linda Pethtel (Palestine), Norma Watts (Duncanville, IL), and Mary Westbrook (Atlanta, GA); 3 brothers, Leon Tracy (Oblong), Chuck Tracy (Olney, IL), and Bobby Tracy (Oblong); as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Lloyd A. Tracy, Jr. and Timothy Tracy; 5 brothers, Jim Tracy, Dean Tracy, Don Tracy, Dave Tracy, and LeRoy Tracy.Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Reverend James Shidler officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until service time at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
