Lucille Irene Wernz

Lucille Irene Wernz, 86, Robinson, formerly of Annapolis, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson.Born March 27, 1927 in Melrose Township, Clark County, she was the daughter of Vernie Davison and Mary (Jackson) Davison. She was a farm wife and a member of the Annapolis Methodist Church.On December 31, 1947, she married the late Stanley Joe Wernz. Surviving are her, brother and sister-in-law, Laymon and Sharon Davison, Marshall, sister and brother-in-law, Leda and Dale Crumrin, West Union and a sister-in-law, Jean Davison, West Union. Also, several nieces and nephews including Scotty Davison, Matthew, Jodi, Kaylynn, and Carter Davison, Annapolis, and Michelle and Brad Meese, Robinson.Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, an infant daughter, Dianna Rae Wernz, a sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Lyman Crumrin, and a brother Bernard Davison. The funeral is 10:30 AM Saturday, April 13, at Prust-Hosch Funeral Home, West Union, with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey officiating. Burial is in Ohio Cemetery, northwest of West Union. Visitation is from 6-8 PM Friday, April 12, and before service time Saturday.Memorials may be made to the Ohio Cemetery to assist with its upkeep.
