Mamie M. Courtney Arnold

Mamie M. Courtney Arnold went to be with her heavenly father on April 16, 2025.

Born on April 8, 1932, she was the ninth child of Homer and Mary M. Allen Courtney. She was the last survivor of her generation. All of her siblings and their spouses, as well as one grandson, have passed on.

She married Norvil D. Arnold on July 10, 1953. They were married almost 64 years before he passed on May 22, 2017. They had four children who survive, along with 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mamie has been buried next to her husband in the Good Hope Cemetery, and the Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock was in charge of these arrangements.
