Margaret Mullins

Margaret Mullins, 94, of Robinson, IL, died at 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on August 19, 1922, the daughter of James and Sarah Lloyd. She married Manford Mullins on Mar. 28, 1946. Margaret devoted her life to her husband of 70 years and to their 14 children and many grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting, singing and bread-making over the years. Margaret was a woman of faith who believed that all things happened the way the Lord intended them to. She was loved more than words could ever describe. She is survived by her husband, Manford Mullins (Robinson, IL); by her daughters, Lynn Fulk (Mascoutah, IL) Sandy & Jack Anderson (Robinson, IL) and Lorri & Ed Bonesteel (Flat Rock, IL); by her sons, Richard & Bev Mullins (Hutsonville, IL), Larry & Laura Mullins (Flat Rock, IL), Lee & Tanya Mullins (Robinson, IL), Doug Mullins (Palestine, IL), Stanley & Phyllis Mullins (Robinson, IL), Ronnie & Teresa Mullins (Flat Rock, IL), Craig & Vanessa Mullins (Palestine, IL), Dale & Diana Mullins (Robinson, IL), Kevin & Kelly Mullins (Flat Rock, IL) and Tim & Rachel Mullins (Flat Rock, IL); 53 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; by her sister, Wilma Juanita Brashear (Flat Rock, IL); as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her brothers, Alva Miller Lloyd, Daniel Lloyd, Nolan Lloyd, Price Lloyd, Lorn Lloyd, Harold Lloyd, Amos Lloyd, Donald Lloyd, and Darrel Lloyd; by her sisters, Lois Gray, Esther Marie Lloyd, and Opal Irene Lloyd; by her daughter, Sharon Elaine Mullins; and by one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Graveside services will follow and will be held at the Kirk Cemetery (rural Robinson, IL). Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
